Resort Discount available for Fall dates on DLR website

I pulled DL's website to check rates against Expedia's for our October dates and they have them discounted. It was a couple of dollars cheaper than expedia's. They don't have it listed in special offers, but when I pulled up our dates it says Fall discount.

Now I'm wondering should I book now or wait until AP rates come out. We are upgrading to Premier passes on our WDW trip next month.

One more question- Since it is our first DL trip we could use some advice. Should we book the standard room at GCH or a view room at DLH?

Once you book at one of the three hotels, you can change your reservation to another rate if a cheaper one comes out later. You can cancel a hotel only reservation up to 5 days prior (25 fee). I always book as soon as I can stand the price and then keep checking for a better price. The AP rates usually come out in September but the fall discount now is pretty good for the GCH.

I went ahead and booked last night a standard room at GCH. I asked the CM about AP rates and the only thing she suggested for our dates was a CL room, but it was over $2000 more than the standard room with the Fall discount so that was way over our budget.

I will check back on the AP rates in September. I would love to get a view room for about the same thing we paid for our standard room.

We just booked too in hopes for a better AP rate later. My CM said just keep checking back, it's easy to adjust.

i booked and paid 2 weeks ago. When I saw the price difference with the fall discount I called Tuesday and they refunded me the difference.
