Resort Dilemma! Help!

I am having a toss up for my May trip! 5 nights this May, do I stay at POFQ or WL! I have previously stayed at CSR (love it) and SSR (my new home!). This is my chance to stay at a deluxe on a solo trip, but I hadn't planned for that, I was leaning towards POFQ. I am debating on spliting the stay, two nights at POFQ, and 3 at WL. Is that silly?

Give my your opinions! POFQ, WL, or both! I have to go to the Caribe Royale for the conference, Epcot is my favorite resort, and I like to go to DTD/PI at night.

If you want to try both resorts split your stay.

You have picked my favore Moderate & Deluxe so I dont think you could go wrong with either.

However I would pick the WL over the POFQ everytime!

Go for what your heart desires!! I think you will enjoy the accomadations more going solo. You will have more chance to smell the flowers, so to speak.

If you are drawn to WL, go for it!

DH and I are going without the kids for three nights and are staying at the Poly. I've always wanted to stay there, and now is our chance to truely enjoy it.

You hit the nail on the head, both of you! They both sound like great resorts, and I'm drawn to both of them. WL has always sounded like place I'd like to stay, and when I ate at WCC this past Dec - whoa! It's impressive! I have been browsing pictures of POFQ for the past couple of weeks and it looks great too! I've been to New Orleans and POFQ looks like a pretty good replica.

I think I will try to split my stay, now the question which resort gets 3 nights and which one gets 2 nights!

Depends on how many nights you want to go to DTD/PI. It is so much easier to get there from POFQ than from WL. We split our stay last year because we love WL but wanted to try POFQ (it is now our favorite moderate), and when we went over to WL they upgraded us over to VWL one bedroom villa (tub was wonderful).

I am leaning towards 3 nights at POFQ and 2 nights at WL - OR - I have considered extending my stay one more night for an even 3 night split!

All right, my level headed DH has calmed me down. He has reminded me that WDW is not going anywhere and I can stay at one resort this year, I can stay at the other resort next year (which means we will be renewing our PAP's!). The wrench in the plan is that I was really leaning towards POFQ, do in my mind I was thinking about 5 nights at POFQ, until he says that I should do WL first so next year *we* can stay at POFQ together (because that's where he wants to stay).

Stress like this is kinda wonderful!

PS - I also have to remember that I will be returning to WDW just 3 weeks after this trip!
