So we started out at the Poly which we really, really love. We stayed there last summer. But I wanted to experience the pool at the Beach Club so we switched to split stay at the Yacht Club and ASMovies. My children really wanted to stay at ASM.
I just could not do a value so I switched to a split stay at he Yacht club and club level at AKL. I was firm in my decision and I stayed with those reservation for about 5 days.
Then mom decided she wanted to come with us to Disney even though she did not like it too much 2 years ago due to the amount of walking. So I switched to a split stay at Yacht club and the CR. We needed to be close to the monorail.

But I was thinking how much I loved the Poly and maybe a split stay would be too much for mom even though the kids and I like them. So we switched back to the Poly with a meal plan. But my mom is the only one that would spend a lot of the time at the resort and eat at the monorail resorts for 1 to 2 meals per day so I decided we did not need the meal plan and mom would pay out of pocket. So we switched back to the Poly room only without the meal plan.:rotfl2:

I still have over two months left until our trip. Now, I'm thinking I should do a split stay at the Yacht club (easy access to Epcot and good food) and the Poly.

So who is with me and just cannot make up their minds about which resort to stay.

At least I bought the plane tickets and can't switch days. I have also not switched the parks I will visit each day. I'm also pretty much sticking to my touring plan and my ADRs.

That has sounded like me on previous trips....lol. I personally LOVE the bc and yc snd would stay there in a hot second. The location and boats to two parks is awesome with so many foor options right there. I would think that it would be easier for you mother than even poly.

You sound like me! I switch everything up. I can't afford 2 weeks in a deluxe, but I can do a mod and deluxe split stay. My kids love AS Sports....over any mod....but the closing of the food court does not work for us.

You are too funny :rotfl2: we bounced around resorts on our last 2 trips. We couldn't decide 2009 we went from CBR to AKL. Then last yr we went from WL to POR RR'S. and regretted it.

I like your choices of split between poly & a Epcot resort. You are getting the best of both worlds. Monorail and the poly for you. And YC/BC for the pool and close to great food choices.

I keep changing my mind as in, plugging in my current vacation details with staying at the Beach Club or Poly, then bugging my eyes out when I see the price. :crazy2: which is why I am sticking with POR. Since there are currently NO pins or discounts of any kind on my dates, the price of deluxe is outrageous. But if a good room only discount comes out.... I will be in your shoes exactly!!!

Good luck deciding on your resort, but you know, sometimes planning and re-planning is half the fun. :)

I've switched our resort multiple times for this upcoming trip too;) I think doing a split stay at YC and Poly sounds wonderful! The pool area at YC is amazing and the Poly is beautiful! I would love to stay at Poly but our family is too big and we would need two seperate rooms:/ Sounds like you'll have a great trip:goodvibes
