Resort Credit - refund?

We added a one night reservation to the beginning of our trip. I moved us to a different resort which was cheaper than the original reservation. Instead of the difference being refunded, the site said it would be added as resort credit to our account. But, it's only one night and there's no way we'll spend that much money. Will Disney refund whatever is left over after our stay?
