Resort closest to TL & BB?

DD wants to go to WDW for her graduation present next year -- I thinking of an early present during her spring break in April 2008 -- we have never been to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon and that is what she would like to mainly do during this visit. Which resorts would be the closest to these two water parks? We will probably only go for 4 days (2 days of parks and 2 days of water parks) plus the evenings.

TL is very close to DTD, so I guess it would be SSR or the next one you pass should be CBR.

BB is across for CSR, also not too far from AllStars.

I stayed at POP in Sept and we drove to BB in just a few minutes.

My teens preference is BB (tried TL in April again and they said it was too too tame) and CSR is their favorite resort, so that would probably be my choice. Also has great transportation to the parks, good pool area, food court etc. But the bus ride to TL wouldn't be bad either. But if you have a car, I drive to the waterparks.

Slides are the best part of BB. Their wave pool is a waste of time. Once the lines get long, BB is a waste of time, too.

TL has the shark reef, CrushNGusher, other slides, larger lazy river than BB and THE wave pool where you can take surfing lessons in the morning before the park opens.

TL is not that far from POR and POFQ and OKW.

Just a quick correction. The lazy river is larger at BB. It's 3000 feet long while it is only 2100 feet long at TL. I still prefer it at TL though, it feels more like a river with the lush vegatation all along it's course

The lazy river at BB is narrower and shallower than the one at TL. Just did both of them last week.

TL & BB are pretty far away from each other on WDW property. There isn't a resort that is closet to both of them. OKW is closest to TL, and All Starr resorts are closest to BB, with CSR being not that much further away.

But I wouldn't chose a resort based on distance from any of the water parks. You would do better to consider how your room needs (and price) match-up with what the resort has to offer.

you can walk to BB from either CSR or All Stars - there is a pathway.

you can't walk to TL from OKW or any of the resorts - no pathway and the light does not consider walkers. Dangerous!!!
