This may seem like a silly question…

We would like to eat at a restaurant at a resort that is not open now, but will be when we visit. Does a resort have to be open in order to book a reservation? We are going to Port Orleans in November and can make our priority seatings in September before they open. Am I able to do that?

Only if they announce the restaurant is going to be open. Could be months before Boatwright's opens. And I'm with ya. Love the Prime Rib there and the shrimp grits

Resort restaurants have not necessarily opened when the resort did. There are some resort restaurants still closed and the resort has been open a year+ already :(

When/if they open Boatwrights, they'll make an announcement with the date it opens + the date reservations can be made. Here recently, those announcements come about 3 days before reservations open.

Hope it reopens in time for your trip!
