Resort Christmas Decorations after New Year

We arriving in WDW on New Years Day and are hoping that the resort decorations will still be up, especially the MK resorts. Does anyone know when they start taking the decorations down? We are arriving late on Jan 1, so it would be great if we could still tour the decorations on Jan 2.

The decorations at the Beach Club and Yacht Club came down on January 5th last year.

And the year before BWI still had theirs up to the 4th but that was the last day

GF Gingerbread house was being destroyed on January 3rd this year.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully we might catch the last of the decorations on January 2nd. Love the GF Gingerbread house so better make that our first port of call!

I am getting there on the 7th. I guess I am going to miss them on this trip.

Last year we got there on Jan 4 and we still had a few days of Christmas music and most of the big trees in the parks. No gingerbread houses, or Christmas treats around (like Christmas decorated cupcakes, Holiday kitchen booths at Epcot, etc.). We've been at that time a few trips and it is fun, but kinda anti-climatic since it is after Christmas. I want to go in early December next trip so I can enjoy all the holiday activities leading up to Christmas!

Marathon weekend starts on Jan 3 so they will probably go down around that time.
