resort christmas decoration removal

our first day at BC is the 6th of january. I was pretty confident that there wouldn't be christmas decorations up anymore, but someone told my mom that they are removed on the 7th. I have no idea who or what they're basing that on. Does anyone know? If resort decorations are still up, we will take the time to resort hop a bit on that day, but i don't want to waste time hopping around if it's a wild goose chase.

They could be down before then with the Marathon early this year. The Expo starts on Jan 3 and the races are on Jan 4-7.

I would not expect Resort decorations to be up.
We were at BWI one year and checked out on the 3rd and that was the final day for their decorations.
Park decorations are still up in most cases but not resort.
