Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

WE ARE TWINS!! Back in high school I would dye my hair different colors. I had red hair, blue hair, purple hair, etc. It was awesome! For my first year of college I did a black/blue. Once that color started going away, I did like a burgundy color and now my hair is just a golden brown. I would love to have that burgundy color back again. My mom hated that color. :rotfl: Once I'm out of the house, it's going back to red. :cloud9: When I'm out with friends, I wear wigs. These are a couple of my favorites: http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/5569_1027476505854_1793569406_59609_2999127_n.jpg

I also have this short pink wig that looks cute on me as well, but the pics from when I wore it at karaoke night are too dark.

I totally agree about thick hair. It's all wild and ick until you straighten it a lot. I should straighten my hair tonight before work tomorrow morning. :rotfl:

I have a friend who does make up like yours! She usually does two different colored eye shadows. You look so adorable!! :D

My mom HATES my red hair too! I haven't dyed my hair since May because of the pregnancy and she has been begging me not to dye it red again. It IS getting dyed and cut next week...RED! :rotfl: When I go to work the girls love to try and count how many eyeshadow colors I'm wearing. It's never less than 4 lol. I'm entirely the black sheep of my family. I'm very downtown/village and they're all conservative and...opposite of me.

ETA: You are GORGEOUS!

I'm the black sheep of my family as well. :rotfl: Take pictures of your hair! I want to see how it turns out! Our moms would be great friends. She hates when I dye my hair an abnormal color. I'm hoping to move out in the next year or two. I'm saving up for a car after Disney World and once that happens, I'm saving for an apartment. I need to find one that won't run me $1k+ per month. Maybe I will just wait 'til I can afford a downpayment on a house. 2 years worth of rent for apartments in my area equals a downpayment on a house. Once I'm outta my parents' place, my hair is going RED! RED RED RED!!! And as soon as my hair is long enough for my boyfriend, I'm getting it chopped off the next day. :lmao:

I could never wear so much make up. For eyeshadow, I'm ok with just one color!

That's TOO funny! Rent here is super ridiculous. It's at least 1400 for a 2BR.

Makeup is seriously the only art that I have ANY talent in. I have absolutely no creative vision in any other aspect of life.

I should take pictures of how much I have. It helps that I have professional discounts with a lot of companies. ;) I keep more in my purse than you own! I can't use a curling iron to save my life. I have multiple nasty scars from my few attempts to use one. My flat iron is my best friend though!

I haven't worn makeup since college, except when I go out. And I have crazy, naturally curly (frizzy) hair....so I do ponytails at work. I was exactly like you and LillianGracey when I was younger though. I just made myself sound so old:scared1: I have that natural beauty:rotfl: So you guys can have my sink space when we go away:laughing:

Since we are sharing pics, here's my wild bunch...These are from last August.

You don't sound old at all! And you are beautiful and I absolutely adore your kiddos!

Awwwwww.Thank you. I even have a tattoo (nothing exciting though). And I HATE needles, so even though I have wanted another-TOO WIMPY! And you are a totally hot momma :goodvibes

Those pictures were pre-pregnancy. I'm haggard and fat now. I need to drop some serious pounds! But thank you.

I don't really mind needles, and this may sound nuts but I LOVEEEEE getting ink! When I got the star on my shoulder it felt SO good. My wrist hurt, but I didn't mind it too much. I'm an odd one. :rotfl:

disneydreamin247 and Lillian Gracey Love the hair and the makeup! I wish I was more girly with mine but I'm not. :sad1:

My wish is to someday straighten my curly frizzy hair and get that black with blue color job that you where talking about. But it just wouldn't look right on me I'm a little too middle aged for that one. I have also always wanted either braids or dreads. :rotfl:

And I have always wanted a tattoo but am too chicken to get one. I want an Ouroboros tattoo in the worse way.

pas130 - Love the pictures of you and the kids - what a nice looking family! :goodvibes

I had blue dreads! :lmao: I say you're only as old as you feel. I've worked with both clients AND artists that were well into their 60's with some super rad hair colors going on. I say go for it!

Thanks for the encouragement!

Here's a pic of me at WDW so you have an idea of what I have to work with. I'm the one with the Mickey pumpkin :teeth:

You would look ADORABLE with black hair with some blue in it! Everyone in our little family is so cute. We're a good looking family! :rotfl:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone's pictures!!! Everyone is so beautiful and adorable! :grouphug: I was never girly in high school. I would shop at hot topic and wear chain pants and wear black and all that. I have turned a 180 since then and now I'm girly, but edgy.

My dad is in Orlando covering the Bulls (he's a sports reporter) and he texted me today saying he was finished with his work and asked if he should go to Disney World to check it out for me and my gramma. I told him he should and he texted me back saying it was tempting, but too expensive. I was going to ask him for a souvenir or an autograph. Maybe I can ask him to go to DTD and get me something Alice!

Okay, Hannah just stop it NOW! I was the same until I was like 15. Then I turned more feminine (I was such a typical Staten Island girl but we won't talk about those years) and THEN I started working for record labels and started shopping at Hot Topic again. Just between us...I still do. :rolleyes1

I know who I am going to be when I grow up! YOU! You are me in the future. :rotfl: I only shop at Hot Topic for their Alice in Wonderland stuff because the Disney Store hardly has anything Alice. Except for now because of the 60th anniversary.

At work today, this girl bought one of those "My Generation" dolls and the doll's name was Lily Anna and I thought of you! :goodvibes

:lmao: That's too funny! I'm thinking of going hot pink for our vacation...I'll be out of work for 2 1/2 weeks so it will give me enough time between dye jobs. What say you, my awesome DIS fam?!

YES!!! GO HOT PINK!!!

I know this is totally random, but red hair reminded me of Labor Day Weekend '09. I had been dating my current boyfriend for like a week or two. My gramma told me to marry a nice red head so she can have red-headed great grand-children. :rotfl: I was so embarrassed. My face was bright red and she said this in front of quite a few people. Now my boyfriend is blonde, but he has red hair in his genes. His beard has some red in it and quite a few of his family members have red hair. I also have red hair in my genes. My dad, aunt, one of my uncles and my gramma have red hair. I think that if my boyfriend and I get married and have kids, there may be a good chance that we will have a red-headed baby. This is the same gramma that is going to WDW with me next month. :lmao:

I'm seriously considering it! That is so funny. Your grandma sounds adorable.

I'm typing with the queen in my arms so please forgive me for responding to these parts of your previous posts a bit late. It's AWESOME that your dad is a sportscaster! Does he ever cover any NY games?! Tell him to go to the World of Disney store in DTD! They have all the souvenirs they sell in the parks except the park specific stuff.

I didn't know there was a doll named Lily Anna! I have to buy it!

She is so adorable! My gramma is so hip! She is THE coolest gramma ever! She is so excited for the Vegas trip this July. She loves Vegas a lot. She kept pestering my brother about it because he was trying to get into the tourney and she wanted to know the dates so she could book a hotel and flight. She and I are going to hit up the slots because I'm the only one of my siblings old enough to gamble. :rotfl:

My dad doesn't do anything on TV, but he writes articles for the Chicago Sun-Times. He was actually in New York last month for a college basketball tournament. He covered Notre Dame. He covers the Bears and now he is covering the Bulls since Football season and college basketball season are over. He traveled with the Blackhawks during the playoffs and witnessed them winning the Stanley Cup live! His job is so cool! Too bad he can't bring me along. :rotfl: I told him to go to DTD to pick me up something Alice in Wonderland, but he said he will see. I think he is coming back tomorrow after the Bulls game or Monday.

And this is what the doll looks like: http://www.target.com/Our-Generatio...om_size-bin,target_com_brand-bin&frombrowse=0

I'd do it! :)

And BTW both of you are younger me's. ;)

My best hair job was the one with the super blonde on top, cut in a shag and shaved up the back with polka dots on the back of my head. It was sooo cool looking!
