Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

We hardly ever use points for weekends. Instead, we book at either the Swan or Dolphin since those hotels are in the same area. Once in a while, we book Coronado Springs when my daughter requests it. It costs almost as many pts for a weekend as for a whole week!

I know!! CSR... first place I looked, only king rooms,...but I grabbed a CR Garden WIng for now. as everyone knows is just a matter of days (hours) before I change! LOL
DH does not want me to use cash for rooms... since we have DVC.Just glad AP rates are good for weekends in May
I KNOW I should take a deal at POFQ....but the monorail....sigh...

Whatever I do, just relieved I am saving all those points for future use

LOL, hey DB'03! We're going to switch to WL and my dh is giving me all kinds of crap about switching again (and again, and again, LOL), so I told him I'd seen a resort changers thread before....so, I search to find the thread, and I find you here!!

Sooooooooo, how embarrassed should I be to call back and change my ressie for the 3rd time since the 4/3 came out?? Are they going to hate me and make notes to give me a yucky room??

and for the record, dh cannot believe that this thread is 50 pages long

You dont know embarrassment...today when I called....they had ALL my changes from the Feb trip this mth(that got pushed to this May)..the CM says...oh my, then laughed...(nicely) its taking awhile to load here...they couldnt even confirm a res for me cause of all the stuff(res) attached to my name!!!! It took all afternoon and Cm's to call me back at home!!!

I've switched three times from CSR to WL to Poly and now i'm not reading anymore reviews lol! Our vacation is in December and I could potentially switch 2 or three more times before then but i'm fighting it, i've read a lot of good about the Poly

I've switched three times from CSR to WL to Poly and now i'm not reading anymore reviews lol! Our vacation is in December and I could potentially switch 2 or three more times before then but i'm fighting it, i've read a lot of good about the Poly

I switched from Pop, to CR, to a split stay at Pop and CR, to all Pop and am going to switch to WL. (OMG, that looks bad to write it all out!)

yeah I know! I think i've settled on the right hotel for now

just can't seem to get my ADR spreadsheet straight thank god I have a few more months until its time to call and do it! I'm spending too much time thinking about this, my mom asked me if I remembered the hotel we went to when I was 5 and I had NO idea lol my kids are that age(will be 3 and turning 5 at WDW) and boys-boys don't remember details lol

I had to sneak in here to admit what I just did because I can't tell DH.

We had a trip booked for August. Yay. Resort and reservation changed several times, but swore I was sticking with that. Then the 4/3 deal was just sitting there looking soooooooo tempting. So I convinced DH that me and DS needed to take a quick and cheap trip in June, use the 4/3 deal, upgrade to APs and - VOILA! - we actually save money on our August trip... Kinda. And then I tossed in that we could probably also shorten the August trip if we did that, since child and I would have just been there.

So, I shortened the August trip.

Then last night, I had a panic attack about not having a full Saturday in the trip (don't ask) and called and expanded it back to 8 nights. I haven't told DH yet. I'm hoping he won't notice. It's not like he books the flights or plans the days any way. Is that bad??

Yes, cold. BLAH. This is the longest winter ever. And a winter storm coming through tomorrow night apparently...

We're doing CSR and I'm in a bit of a panic about it. Trying to be a big girl though and deal with it. The one time I was stuck with DS at All Stars, he spent the whole time asking me, "How do they NOT have room service???" My child was born to vacation deluxe.

We've got the King room, but that works best for me when traveling with the child - since he'll likely sleep directly on top of me any way. Gives him more room to turn sideways and kick me as I sleep.

What is your status???
I have my 2 nights on the weekend at Poly cause of those AP rates, but still not sure...thought abt BC..cause then I would be right there to check into the villas side....but only water view is avail and I am not going to pay what they want for that, esp since some of their water views could consist of a view of wet kids returning from SAB!! lol
CSR...only king rooms, not sold on CBR...could go POFQ..but would love to be at the Poly again...ohhhhhhhhh! lol

You have LOT of time to switch! I hope you stick with Poly though, you have a lot of time to pay it off and it will be so worth it! Besides, we might be there for the first part of our Christmas trip - you could soften the place up for us!

Currently, well, no.... But I could be!

I have March at AKV; August/September at SSR (2bdr) then BLT (1 bdr); then NYE (technically ) at POR/BLT.

BUT I could change the POR part of the December trip to the Poly! You know how I lust after that resort!

Ok, so the BC is now out for you. Have you thought about YC? Or would you rather just pay cash for BLT? You can, you know...

Have stayed YC in 07, havent stayed Poly since 03....BLT wont be open yet at end of May..hoping to stay there for 2 nights in Sept....

We got married at the Poly..Sunset point...so we have GF, MK in the background of our pics....DH wont stay there.now that we have DVC,,,.so should I just stay there, enjoy MK area then I will be in EPCOT's backyard at BCV!

LOL thats every night of my life! My trip to WDW i'm letting my kids take one queen and me take the others at least thats the hope I have, I know they will both be over in my bed before the end of the first night
Your son is funny asking about room service! I know that we're saying at the Poly but with the Deluxe DDP we are more than likely not even going to use the room service--i'm like him though I LOVE room service lol

Hey Disneybride, I can see you wanting to go back to the Poly, so that's a tough one with GF. Do you want casual or more formal - its the Santa Cruz verses Carmel question, either choice would be great! Can't wait to see what you decide.

I have to live vicariously through you all, since no trip for us in the works .... yet !
