Resort change ~ Discount question

We currently have a 40% discount promo on our room-only reservation (CM discount).

I have been considering switching to a different resort. If we do switch, does the 40% discount still apply, or do we lose it?

If I'm not mistaken it will depend on whether the resort you want to switch to has any rooms with that 40% discount (they only have so many rooms at any given resort with said discount).
