Resort change calls

I am trying to change my resort. My 45 day mark is 4/18, as of now there is nothing available at CSR, POR, POFQ, where I can keep my FD pin. :sad: The first CM I spoke to yesterday was very nice, he said to keep calling. So I called this morning....still nothing. I hate to keep calling and bugging them, do they keep track of how many times you call LOL, and do you think its a lost cause anyway? TIA (my choices would by FQ, POR then CSR) Currently at CBR, and I NEED to change.
 
So has your free dining pin expired? If so, you can technically change but I can vouch from experience that its not easy to do. It is a time consuming process. I know because I did this (switched from Pop to CBR) after my free dining offer booking date had expired. So I was booked (as you are) but the offer was expired. Guest Services had to do this and its not a quick change to make. On the other hand, my persistance paid off adn I got what I wanted! I will add, it was my poor TA who had to keep calling. But again, I was able to make the change.

Now if your pin booking date is still in affect its much easier but if your 45 mark is so close, I doubt your pin offer is still valid.

Stuff does open up all the time, but it has to be something that is exact to your offer.

I would not worry about the number of times you call, even if they do keep track (which I doubt but then again they probably do since you always have to put in your phone number) what do you care! Frankly, for what we all spend going to Disney, we have a right to get what we want and I am sure they are used to it.

Is there a reason you must switch from CBR? We just got back (and are booked to go again) and it was wonderful.

They do keep track. There's a File (not like I'd know or anything...:rolleyes1 )

DON'T feel bad...that's what they are there for.

Keep trying until you see if you can get what you want! :thumbsup2
 
If changing resorts is really important to you, then I would keep calling as you never know if/when something might become available. Just keep in mind that if you change resorts and the room categories aren't comparable and the change decreases the total cost, you will be charged a $50 change fee once you're 44 days or less from arrival. Good luck :wizard:.

I don't know if they keep track of how many times you call. I wouldn't worry about it. Your the one spending the money. Their the ones getting paid to help you spend your money. I would keep bugging them until you get what you want.
 
Can you change to a Ft Wilderness cabin? I ask because it's a moderate and all the resorts you listed are mods.

No, the only thing that pops up "available" is CSR, but a king size bed room, which won't work, as there will be 3 of us. I am going to keep calling, worse case, I will just keep what I have at CBR. Thanks everyone!
