Hi - I was originally booked for BWI in September and changed to the tower studio. The price was lower than BWI, but the room does look very small. I am still debating with myself to call again and change to a regular studio at either the Boardwalk or Riviera, or a regular room at Yacht club. If I was on a solo trip, the tower studio would be fine, but my mother decided to come with me. It does look very small -- and trying to determine if the pull down bed is a full or queen. With a regular studio, someone will have to sleep on a pull-out couch (which will be me).So today I was offered Saratoga Springs or Riviera tower studio. We took riviera and then found out the bed folded out of the wall and it’s the size of a postage stamp. It’s clean and new which is nice. High end materials. I just can’t get over how tiny it is. I always say the trip is not about the room, but I’m these times we will definitely spend more time in the room. The parks close much earlier and open later. The balcony is a nice touch for sure. Would love to hear other opinions on this room type and on this resort.
I was offered this room at RR as well, and GS said it was all the resort had available. The pulldown bed is definitely not appealing - only with a solo trip, as you said! Although, it's a queen. As the pp said, during these times you're definitely going to be spending more time in the room so you should take that into account. I tried hard for a deluxe studio but none were available, per GS. I think they're only allowed to offer the tower studio to parties of 1-2 and reserve the other rooms for bigger parties.Hi - I was originally booked for BWI in September and changed to the tower studio. I'm AP and I still got this email. I think it's still to check who's coming, who's not, and who still needs to modify. My guess is that they're stopping people from calling and requesting to be moved to upgraded resorts and instead are reverting back to the CM's calling to move guests.Just got a Returning to the magic email. Selected I am coming, says they will contact me. Although POP is open, maybe for PH changes.

Seems like the emails were sent to guests at Pop Century? Anyone not? Prob low inventory, and need rooms

The towers are small and from what I've heard, dim lighting and hard to see. To me they look best for a solo, a young couple or maybe a parent/young child combo. As much as I like the new resort, it would feel like a downgrade going from BW over to a tower bed closet. The bathroom is bigger than the bedroom, lol.Hi - I was originally booked for BWI in September and changed to the tower studio. The price was lower than BWI, but the room does look very small. I was relieved to get the e-mail. I always hoped they would reach out so I wouldn’t have to call, but this board was starting to make me think I was wrong to wait.My guess is that they're stopping people from calling and requesting to be moved to upgraded resorts and instead are reverting back to the CM's calling to move guests.
