Hey Everyone!

Being a long time WDW Fanatic i've been to WDW over 15 times at this point! One thing I like to do is add something new to my Disney Bucket List so that each time I go I'm doing something brand new. Lately that new thing has been staying onsite! I created a Bucket list of resorts I would love to stay at one day and check them off as I do. One thing I began is that I purchase a Resort Trading pin at the resort I stay at so I can remember it fondly and feel like I need to collect them all.

So far I have Coronado Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge and soon this year I'll have Beach Club!

My Bucket list of resorts left: Polynesian, Port Orleans French Quarter, Caribbean Beach, and the Boardwalk Inn.

What are some ways you remember each resort visit? and if you have one share your Resort bucket list!

You can buy a hand drawn picture of each of the deluxe resorts, matted and framed too if you want. Each deluxe resort has them in their gift shop. The matted and unframed one is about $35. I have them all on the wall in my office....daydreaming of Disney while working!

We usually do a gift from the resort gift shop for our girls. Sometimes they are resort specific and other times they're just cutesy items. But we let them choose to help them remember their trip. They eyeball something day 1 and sit on it and then last day we come back and pick it out.

DW and I love to pick something resort related (i.e. t-shirt, mug, pillow). Next time we are in WDW we will pick up the resort paintings that Larry Dotson has done. DW and I have this vision of having Larry Dotson's resort paintings in our study of where we have stayed. I would also like to pick up one of those mini totem poles from the Mercantile Store to have in my office.

WDW resort bucket list (in no particular order):
1. Polynesian Resort
2. Boardwalk Inn
3. Yacht Club
4. Beach Club
5. Star Wars Hotel

We buy a pin at each resort. We are finally doing a 2nd visit to a resort after trying nearly all of them. The only ones we haven't stayed at are Boardwalk, Coronado Springs and Ft. Wilderness. We have no interest in staying at the DVC resorts.

I take what seems like a gazillion photos. :) Even though I tend to stay at the same resort each time.
To be honest this trip I was supposed to stay at AKL but switched due to a pool refurb. We would have never dreamed of staying at Beach Club lol. I definitely want to go back to both CSR and AKL

OO! that sounds like such a lovely memento! On my bedroom mirror I hang previous trip things around it helps with missing WDW. I usually hang pin lanyards or special things I got from food and wine or MNSSHP.

I wanted those AKL pillows so BAD but right now I'm trying to chill on the home goods :P. I have so many mugs and stuffed things its insane.

The resorts i'm not really interested in are Grand Floridian and Contemporary Resort. Maybe I'll change my mind when I visit them this trip for dining :D

Years ago they had beautiful Christmas ornaments with the resort picture on it, I have about four now they don’t have them anymore. So the last few trips I buy a small keychain that has the resort on it and I have made them into ornaments.

We try to visit every few years and stay at a different mod or deluxe resort each time. I will usually get a magnet or key chain or both. I always take pictures of where we stay plus other resorts especially since it is usually holiday season.

Gah!!! The Grand Floridian is my FAVORITE!!! But I did go into our 1st stay thinking I would hate it. :p

We probably won't ever stay at the Contemporary again. It was just meh.

The monorail resorts never appealed to me because we aren’t huge MK fans. However we ate at Ohana last year and we loved our day trip to the poly. I can see myself wanting to stay there one day!

One day we want to try V&A so maybe that will be the trip we see if we love it

That sounds super cool! I have cats so I could never have any precious ornaments. (The Christmas tree belongs to them I have accepted that) But turning keychains into ornaments is such a clever idea.

I like getting coffee mugs or a simple tee shirt! For the Beach Club, I LOVE the Spireside Beach Club candle.

My 'bucket list' resort is the Contemporary. My family absolutely REFUSES, as they feel like the inside of the lobby looks like Market East Station (here in Philadelphia). I think that is harsh, but compared to AKL where we typically stay, the theme is certainly toned down. I would just love to use the monorail more frequently and be able to to visit MK easier. We typically go to MK much less due to the distance from AKL to MK. It is a brutal bus ride at 12-1am!

They have GORGEOUS ornaments but I won't try either for the same reason!

I think staying at AKL Spoiled me :P. Walking into that lobby is so breathtaking and I know a major complaint is that its far away from everything but I love that! I'm usually offsite and I always have my own car so that sort of stuff doesn't bug me as much.(But I agree that bus ride at park closing can be a nightmare.) The contemporary isn't a bad resort, but for that price I'd rather stay at poly or AKL Savanna View just to be immersed in theming. This trip I will be visiting the resort for food because California Grill is a Bucket list place for us!

We get a photo book from each hotel and then use the Memory Maker photos to fill it up when we get home. Always a lot of fun to go back through!

Pictures and video....i recently found my families "slides" from our visits to MK in 1980 and in 1981. It was a trip to see those photos of things like river country and the MK where the trees that are so grown now, and so small back then.

We really started going to disney with my current family in 1993. I have so much video and as others said, a GAZILLION pictures over the last 27 years. plenty of triggers to get the old memory going.
