resort breakfast ideas

Can anyone suggest a fun breakfast idea for a non-park day? I am willing to travel to any one of the resorts, but would prefer a restaurant on the dining package list. We have already been to Boma and the Princess Storybook Breakfast. A character meal is okay, but so is a non-character meal.

Cape May has a terrific buffet breakfast. It is acharacter meal with Goofy, Minnie and Chip and Dale. Other character breakfasts at resorts are Chef Mickey's and Ohanas. Also at the Poly there is the Kona Cafe and at the Contemporary there is the Concourse Steakhouse both have excellent food.

Chef Mickeys for characters, Kona Cafe for no characters. Boma would be another one of my choices, but it sounds like you dont want to duplicate that.

We like Whispering Canyon. They have good breakfast food and it is always fun.

1900 Park Fare is the best character breakfast we have ever done and weve done a lot!

Thank you so much. I hadn't even considered some of those places, that is exactly the kind of suggestion I wanted. Is Whispering Canyon as wacky in the morning as it is in the day?

I would recommend Fresh Mediteranian Market. It is a bufet style breakfast located either at the Swan or Dolphin, can't remember, car just knew where to go. I was at OKW for 2 1/2 wks over the holidays and ended up at Fresh 3 times. Great for people of all ages ,have and omlette station a pancake and french toast/waffle station with a specialty each day.

I highly recommend this one!!!

If you have girls: 1900 Park Fare character meal with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and friends. The characters are great and very interactive. The food is the best at any of the breakfast buffets.

If you have boys, or girls who are into the above characters: Cape May Cafe with Goofy and friends and special guest Minnie Mouse. Again, great characters and a good buffet selection.

If you don't want a character meal at all, then Whispering Canyon. The servers are fun, the food is great and make sure to ask for Ketchup!

Spoodles has a great breakfast and it has never been crowded when I was there. And then you can take a walk around the boardwalk.
