Is there a boat that goes from Fort wilderness to Wilderness Lodge after the hddr, looking for fastest way back to BCV with 14 month old daughter

If I remember correctly there is not. There is a small boat that goes from FW to the Contemporary and then there is the MK boat, but it stop at WL first, then comes to FW. There is a short trail and also a bus that runs between the two.

I would take the boat to the MK and then bus back to BCV, since you will be closer to the boat docks. Or, the same distance in the opposite direction is the bus to Disney Studios and boat back to BCV.

Not to cause a debate, we do not live in WDWor even close, deleting reply that was just our experiences. See other posts for info.

Yes, the blue flag boat that goes between CR/FW/WL runs late, so you could go to WL, but I'm wondering why you want to? The transportation alternatives from both FW and WL are virtually identical (in fact, in some instances, shared).

If MK is open after your dinner, take the MK boat and get a BCV bus at MK.

If the MK is closed, but the Studios are still open, you would probably be better off taking the internal FW bus to the bus depot and then taking a Studios bus from there.

If both of those parks are closed, but Epcot is open (and provided you have a hopper pass you've used that day somewhere), you can take the blue flag boat to CR and take the monorail to Epcot. Then walk through Epcot to BCV.

If all the parks are closed, you would need to take the internal FW bus to the bus depot and take a DTD bus. Change buses at DTD for a BCV bus.

The main problem with the blue flag boat is that, unlike the MK boat, all strollers have to be folded up. Granted, they have to be folded up on the bus too, but the bus isn't moving when you're trying to get on board. It can be a little tricky, in the semi-darkness, to get on a bobbing boat with your hands full of toddler and stroller. I think the buses would be easier for you.

I'm assuming you aren't driving/renting a car? Otherwise, the simplest would be to drive to FW and just take the one internal bus back to Pioneer Hall.

We normally do the last seating, 9:15 I believe, and after the show, the boats are not running, usually. At the bus drop off in FW, they have lines of buses waiting to take you back to the resorts. Don't know about the earlier shows but if the MK is still open, boats are still running and you can do a boat to either a resort or MK then bus to you resort.

This is totally incorrect. See the following for information on WDW Watercraft operations on Bay Lake and 7 Seas Lagoon:

would take the boat to the Mk - then take a bus back to your resort.

if mk is closed - then take a bus to whatever park is open (this might be a problem here - different buses are in different sections)

I think the studios is right there too - so you might just get on it - and walk or boat back to your room.

Endeavuor, are you a CM? Your transpoortation information as always is extremely accurate! Thanks.

If you are willing to spend a little money, you may consider taking a taxi back. I think it runs around $15. But, with a tired little one, it will be faster. We have done this in the past and thought it was well worth the extra $$. :thumbsup2

All I'll say is that I have "intimate" knowledge of the WDW Watercraft ops on 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake...:sail: ...and...you're welcome.

Only thing with a taxi is that you would still have to take a bus back to the front of the Fort because it wouldn't be allowed to go to the back near Pioneer Hall, that area is for buses only.

If your 14 month old is really tired I would think that a taxi is the way to go.

B.

Even with a taxi, you would have to take a bus to the Outpost area of Ft. Wilderness, as they are not allowed back at the Settlement area.
