We are taking a June dream cruise with me, DH, our 2 boys ages 1 and 8 and mil and fil. We will fly in the day before using magical express so no car. Plan on getting car after cruise and spending 2 nights at VB.

What resort and room size would you get before and after at VB?

Was thinking BLT, BCV or Boardwalk either a 2 bedroom lockoff or 2 studios.

Was thinking at VB either a 2 bedroom lockoff or 2 OVIR.

Our inlaws except nicer accommodations so keep that in mind...
What do you think? Thanks!

BWV has two bedroom lock off & it's nice for your children. Likewise for BCV. I like the boardwalk view at BWV. the pool is fun too. SAB fun too. so either one of those with a lockoff.

You can't go wrong with the lock off at VB. you'll have the privacy, the kitchen(s). there's plenty of room.

Have a wonderful cruise & enjoy no matter where you decide. :)

Thanks for the advice!!

If you want to see the ocean, go for OVIRs at Vero. I love the VB resort, and have been many times, but I love it the most when I can see the ocean from our villas. There are some 2 bedrooms that have a view, but we've never gotten one. So, when we have family, I try to get a Beach Cottage now!:goodvibes

I would love a beach cottage, but too many points. Do most people recommend a 2 bedroom lockoff vs 2 studios for BLT, BW, BC? Why? Thanks!!

when we went with my parents and we had the dining plan, we got 2 studios to save a few points, as we slept only in the room.
some issues:
studio will have queen bed and sofabed--do your parents want a king bed?
do you want to put kids in 2nd BR while adults enjoy living room area? there is no guarantee 2 studios will be near each other--so a parent would have to stay in studio with sleeping kids.
do you want/need a full kitchen?

I would definitely get the 2 BR after the cruise @VB for the full kitchen, extra space.

I am leaning towards a 2 bedroom lockoff at BCV before the cruise and a 2 bedroom lockOff at VB after the cruise. Thoughts?
