Resort and Tickets?

We are hoping to stay three nights at the RPR in August and would like to visit both Universal and Islands of Adventure. I know if you stay on site you can get front of the line passes. Do you have to purchase your park tickets thru the hotel to qualify ? The last time we visited Universal was about 4 years ago.

You can purchase them thru: www.universalorlando.com You don't need to purchase them thru the RPR.

You don't actually get a "pass". Your hotel key is what gets you to the FOTL. You can get your tickets anywhere.
