Is it possible to be denied RAC even if you're flying a participating airline? We are checking out today along with my parents and aunt. My family (me, DH, DS and DD) are able to use RAC. My parents and aunt were told they could not and had to check in at the airport. We are all on the same flight.

What's up with this?

Strange. Is everyone taking the Magical Express to the airport?

We booked through SW but the return flight is AirTran. SW told us we do not have to pay bag fees cause we booked through SW.
This is just strange...

And we are all taking ME to airport.

We have been denied use of RAC in the past when one of the travellers was "flagged" for extra security. My SIL used to get flagged all of the time and he filled out some TSA paperwork and it doesn't happen anymore. However, when it happened, only that one passenger was denied using RAC and the others were OK. Maybe that was the reason. Good luck.

The cm that got our bags from the room suggested that my family members that were "denied" go down to RAC and see if it can be adjusted....so they're doing that now. Hopefully it will get worked out.
