Resort Advice

Well..I just extended my stay..haven't even got there yet...and knew I wouldn't want to leave! We are staying at ASMu for 3 nights..then added 2 more at Coronado Springs -
Should we move our luggage ourselves at checkout..or allow them to?
Will we pleased with the Coronado over ASMu as an upgrade?

I would have them move your luggage while you guys are at the parks enjoying your day. Why waste the timeprecious moving them... When you get back in the evening you will just have to check in, and your luggage wil be there

I have never stayed at the All Stars, or the Coranado....but can say this...no matter where I am staying, it is magical for me because I am at WDW!!!

Coming from someone who has stayed at the All-Stars 5 times & the Moderates twice (PO-R and CBR). I find that I enjoy the Moderates better (as long as I am not paying 50% more). Both times we stayed at the Moderates, we paid under $100 per night.

I enjoyed the All-Stars and will probably be staying there again in the future. However, our favorite resort is the CBR.

In my opinion, the Moderates have a better layout and landscaping. I also didn't feel as crowded. I am sure that CS is the same. (We are actually planning on staying there next year). Plus, the rooms are bigger the All-Stars.

The number of days may be a limiting factor on how you much you enjoyr your resort. We typically stay 7 to 10 nights each time we go so we have at least one day just to enjoy the resort.

Don't forget that switching in the middle of the stay will mean the refillable mugs won't make economic sense.

That said, we switched resorts one time in the past and had Disney handle our luggage switch. It was a piece of cake and I would let them do it for you. We even had misc. Disney World souvenier bags and a cooler. They moved each item for us, not just our luggage.

Definately have bell services move your luggage. We have done it before and it was great. Of course we were staying 14 days 7 nights a AKL and 7 nights at WL. We had a bit of luggage and other souvenier bags as well as DH and DS pillows, they moved it all with no problem of course we tipped who picked it up and also who dropped it off.

As far as CS goes I just don't like the set up much. Some rooms are so far from the main building. I don't much care for their food court either. The food wasn't that great and I didn't care for the set up there either.

Others say that they like CS. So don't let my post change your mind, I'm just giving you my info.
