I usually like to plan my trips out a year ahead. My mother just sprung on me that she would really like to take a family trip in August. I love the Yacht Club but it's not showing as available for our possible dates. :worried:

Since we spend a lot of time at the resort in the summer a great pool area is really important, how are the pools at the Poly, Boardwalk or AoA? Is there room to really swim? I was looking at the Caribbean Beach resort also but the construction has scared me off. :scared:

Thanks for any info. :flower3:

Is a slide important to you? How about hot tubs? If you want those, choose BWI. AoA doesn't have either of them.

There is no pool like the YC/BC but we don't spend many days at the pool so most pools are perfect for us. The Poly pools are wonderful. Our kids love the slides at the Volcano pool and love the quiet pool as well. Our kids enjoy the pool at the BWI - even though it is a clown. We do enjoy the food at the BWI pool. They enjoy the slide. I do not know about the pool at AOA. We love the Poly hotel theme. It is so relaxing. And we do enjoy the location of the BWI. I gather you checked the BC - its not available either. Since it it the same pool. Enjoy - even with the short notice - you don't have to wait that long to go.

Thanks, we need two beds and a day bed or sofa bed. My son really likes a slide, a hot tub is nice but not a deal breaker. I like AoA because of the two bathrooms. Always some give and take. :crazy2:

Poly and BWI both have hot tubs and good slides. My own son, age 10, loves the Poly even over my favorite YC. The Boardwalk location is super fun. I like the food options at Poly better for resort food, but you can't beat being steps from World Showcase if you have hoppers. I have never tried AoA, so can't speak to that. I would let kids decide, or just go with cheapest personally.

Thanks everyone! I just booked us at the Poly, we've never stayed there and thought it would be fun to try a new area. :flower1::thanks:
