I made an iron-on from an image last year but I think it needs to be a bit bigger.
I was unable to locate a thread on this so I am posting here for help. Can anyone provide some advice on how to make an image larger when you print it?

Here is a link to a post that has my image from last year.

Any\all help is appreciated. TIA.

If you remember who made it the first time, check if they are still active and request a resize from them if they are.

I thought about that, but the thing is, I am not sure what size is needed. So I was hoping someone might know how to enlarge an image for printing. That way I could get the right size through trial and error.

changing the size of an image usually causes a reduction in the resolution and you could end up with a blurry Mickey head

That's what i was afraid of! Bummer. I was hoping there was a simple way to do it in Paint while keeping the quality. I guess as you enlarge, so do the pixels and thus the blurring.

I think I may have originally pulled the Steelers Mickey Head from one of your Photobucket albums.

I'll go back and review and follow the appropriate protocols for requesting a "new" image.

Out of curiosity, is it much work for you\other DISigners to re-size an existing image like that?

are you looking to use my Steelers Mickey head again? Looks like you may have copied rather than downloaded as it should have been much bigger than shown on your photo.

I am indeed!

So then that may be my issue! I can't get to Photobucket from work, but I will double check this evening (assuming that you still have your album out there with the NFL Mickey heads).

There is a distinct possibility that my issue is purely my stupidity!
:crazy2:

I recall a thread where (if itwas in fact yours) you said that I could use the image. But I honestly have no recollection as to how I procured it. I'll def post back and let you know.

Thank you SOOO much for weighing in on my post.:grouphug:

OK, Marion, thanks again for all of your AMAZING contributions!
I found the image at this link:

It then opened up to your PB image:

I then found the download icon!

My question, does it matter what application you use to open the image after it has been downloaded?
I am going to try MS Paint and if that doesn't look right, I'll move on to another app.

Thanks!
