Residents AP Question

This will be our first time buying AP at Universal. I see that residents can do a payment plan. Do we have to set this up ahead of time online? Or can we purchase the AP at the desk of Portofino Bay? Will we get cards to carry?

You do not need to be a Florida resident to buy a Power Pass and above on FlexPay. I don't know if you can buy on FlexPay onsite. When you buy online, you bring your email confirmation to the hotel ticket desk and verify your identity and they will give you a plastic card. You will also be able to store a digital card in their app. Be aware your pass will be renewed about two months before it expires so if you don't wish to renew, cancel early.
