My family and I are planning to visit Disneyland in late August. We have made reservations at the nearest Residence Inn. Does anyone have any comments on this property? Does anyone have comments on the newer Residence Inn located in Garden Grove, which is further from Disneyland? Thanks for the help.

<font color=navy>I think dis4me is staying there right now. You might ask her next week, when she gets back from vacation.

The Residence Inn in Anaheim looks really nice from the outside - it's clean, and has a nice little pool, and a shared tennis and basketball court. I haven't seen the one in Graden Grove, so I can't comment on that one.

work friends stayed there a few months ago, liked it very much--within walking distance to the park--stay away from garden grove IMHO

We will be staying there for our second year in a row. We love it. Are you Marriott Rewards members? If so, it does come in handy.

Ask any questions you like. I would be glad to answer them.

I'm staying there again in September.

Hi Yes I was at the residence Inn last week.It was great.Rooms were clean.Free continental breakfast in the gatehouse.Hospitatlity hour Mon-Thurs.
The shuttle service was good but we walked almost every day.It took anywhere from 9-22 minutes(yes we actually timed it) depending on traffic lights and how energenic we were.My 7 and 8 year old dds would run there then drag home.
Overall I would stay there again.IT was nice having a kitchenette and we would save breakfast leftovers as late night snacks.
There is a decent pizza palor nearby that delivers.
The pool is just a standard hotel pool. There is a small wading pool and a spa. Many people seem to take late day breaks there. Also were a lot of locals who were renovating or people relocating to the area and waiting to close on the house.
Any specific questions feel free to Pm me.I am in San Diego now bu will be home on the 13 so will be able to get back to you at least by then.
