Hello
Have been to Orlando twice now,
Crowne Plaza U ~ :thumbsup2 Fantastic but rooms to small for 2 adults 14 and 17 year old
Have also done a villa ~ :thumbsup2 loved the space but such a drag have to spend valuable "ride time" driving :sad2: !
So after serveral weeks megaine inducing research we have decided on a suite at the Residence Inn seaworld november next year
Has any one been there ? And can they give me a true account of what it is like or does any one have any more suggestions ?
Ideally some where quiet, on a standard with Crowne Plaza and with room for sullen off spring to skulk off too.
Have to get this holiday right as it is probably the last we will do as a family and Wilma destroyed our day at Discovery Cove in 2005 !! :sad2:
Any help would be appreciated :bitelip:

Haven't stayed there I am afraid.

Have you considered something in-between a hotel and a villa?

The Vistana Villages for example is at the nice end of I-drive and close to Sea World, relatively easy reach of all the parks from there.
They have 1 & 2 bedroom apartments with all the cooking facilities etc

As far as villas go, you will see from my signature we have stayed in a few, if you pick one at the right location you are relatively close to the parks, for example if you stay near Formosa Gardens in Kissimmee, you have Disney about 10 minutes away plus easy access to the I4 for Sea World and Universal etc.
Plus you have a Publix supermarket a 5 minute drive away, restaurants within easy reach and of course all the room and privacy of a villa.

sorry can't say yet were staying there in 3 weeks time
i based my decision on the comments made on the tripadvisor website.

Hi

We (myself, DW and DDs aged 12 and 15) stayed at the RI Seaworld during our last trip in 2005. It's an excellent hotel and is our favourite from the 4 visits we've made to Orlando.

We were planning on returning to the RI in 2008 but my brother's coming with his family so it's a villa for us but I would definitely recommend the RI to you. We took the 1-bedroom option and this gave us 2 big rooms so you'll have space to separate - although the 2 double-beds are in the bedroom so you'll still all be sleeping in the same room.

The RI offers a free morning buffet which is pretty good and its location is excellent for all the attractions.
