This hotel is down the street from the Disneyland Resort, and though the shuttle ride is short, it is really too far to walk. There are some other hotels nearby that share the same parking lot, so if you need to park here, you MIGHT have some trouble finding a parking spot after a day at the parks. It might be a better idea to take the shuttle to Disneyland, and leave your car parked.

I had a chance to tour this hotel in April 2004, and found the rooms to be comfortable and nice. I would recommend staying here.

Thanks, Mary Jo!
We will be staying at this hotel in June with our 3 kids,
DS 10 (top bunk), DS 7 (bottom bunk), and DD 4 (sofa bed).
Mom and Dad of course get the private bedroom!
I like going back to the hotel to eat a late lunch/early dinner before returning to the parks.
The full kitchen is great for that (as well as DH's morning yogurt and late-night ice cream!)
and the free shuttle and breakfast sound good, too.
We will be renting a car and keeping it at the hotel for most of the time,
other than airport transfers, driving to Legoland, church on Sunday, and DD the night of our arrival
(weekly price for our van rental is $250 - I thought we'd just about break even
with the transfers of $20/person, bus to Carlsbad, cab to Yorba Linda for church and grocery shopping ...
Please let me know if I'm wrong and wasting my $!).
I know it's about a mile away and too far to walk, but for $150/nt with all the extras, I thought that was a great deal.
Can't wait ... it's going to be a long 5 months!

Where/how did you get your rate? It seems rather low for a kid's suite. Thanks in advance.

Hi, mskani!
I got the rate at Expedia.com.
$151/nt. (plus taxes) for a Kids Suite for 7 nights the week of June 21-28 (Tuesday-Wednesday).
I thought that was a great rate for a 2 BR/2 BA with full kitchen
(plus free shuttle and hot breakfast!).
Even though it's a mile away, being able to have a room to ourselves away from the kids,
a second bathroom, and a full kitchen more than make up for not being able to walk to the parks.
I just booked my trip this week, so there should still be rooms available.
Good luck!
