In August we are going to stay at the Residence Inn Orlando/SeaWorld; mostly because it is pet-friendly. Can anyone tell me if they've stayed there with their dog and how you liked it.....or any other pet-friendly place that was good?
Thanks!

I would love to hear this too. That Disney does not have a pet friendly hotel is the biggest drawback to vacationing there. Our dog is part of the family.

My mom stayed at the Res. Inn by Orlando Airport in May; she brought her cat. We've actually put her up twice at Res. Inns with her pet and it is pretty much the same. They charge a non-refundable pet fee up front ($75. IIRC). When you check in they will give you a magnet to place on the doorframe that states "pet in room". This is for housekeeping, so they don't accidently let your pet out (for added safety we always keep the do not disturb sign up too, but YMMV). I believe they group the pet rooms together in certain areas of the hotel (and maybe on specific floors). You'll sometimes see pet owners taking their animals out for a walk. That's about it!
