Residence Inn near SeaWorld

Does anyone know if you can walk to Sea world from the Residence Inn? Can you see the fireworks? It says the hotel is .5 miles from SW,but is it on a busy street?Thanks

You probably could walk, but you cross a busy road, and there are no sidewalks, although I did see a cross walk with a walk/don't walk light at the Central Florida Parkway. When we stayed there 2 weeks ago there was no backed up traffic to get in to SW so driving was no problem. We could see the fireworks, but they are kind of small from there, and we were on the fifth floor and had to strain looking around the corner for them.

How was the RI? We are staying there for 2 nights before we check into WDW. It looked nice. Thanks

The hotel was very nice. My only complaint was I thought the pool was kind of small for the size of the hotel, although it is a nice pool.

I have seen other posts on this hotel, so you could try searching. If you have any specific questions, I can try and answer them.
