Residence Inn Maingate or SpringHill Suites at Anaheim Resort?

Trying to decide between these 2 hotels for our August - 3 night stay. What are your thoughts? We love the free breakfast offered at both hotels. I also realize that the SpringHill Suites charges for parking while the Residence Inn does not...

Am trying to figure out which would be closest to the park - easiest/shortest walking time... Is there a pedestrian entrance to the park that I don't see on the map?

it is all about the palm trees and vegetation when you come back from tha park at noon to the RI. Where do you want to hang out waiting for the resort to stop bulging in the noon time heat. We use the RI as a vacation location. when pulling along guests in Dec, we use the Motel 6, both walking distance, but no secret entrance only one on the east and two on the west. In terms of easy, I find walking from the south easy because the garden has no residents, so few folks. Where as tons of folks from the north as those lodgings are really packed in together.
