Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate on Clementine St.

Has any one stayed at this hotel and did you enjoy your stay. They say that it is within walking distance- how did you find the walk, your room, the breakfast buffet. Also how are the parks the begining of December? We are planning a trip next year for our 25th anniversary and have not been to DL since our honeymoon.

I've not stayed at this Residence Inn, but have stayed at the RI at Harbor and Chapman. I believe the breakfast buffet is the same. It has hot dishes, including some do it yourself waffle makers, in addition to the usual continental breakfast fare. One of the better complimentary breakfasts, if you ask me. FWIW, I've never had a bad room at a RI.
As far as walking goes, it can be done, but it would not be a quick walk like some of the motels right across the parks on Harbor Blvd.
Attendance shouldn't be bad in early December. I'd guess most of the schools won't let out till the week before Christmas.
Congrats on your upcoming silver anniversary. If you haven't been there for almost 25 years, you'll be amazed at the changes. At least, with the addition of DCA and DTD.

It has been a few years but we liked the RI when we stayed there. The room we had was nice and breakfast was quite good (especially compared to most hotel breakfasts!). They had a dedicated shuttle when we stayed which I don't think they do anymore...that was a terrific service! We did walk quite a few times and while it is a bit of a walk, particuarly after a long day at the park but we certainly didn't have any trouble with it.
