Hi everyone,
Long time reader first time poster. Has anyone with allergies stayed at the Residence Inn and not had a reaction? It makes me nervous that they accept pets. Thanks!

We stayed there this last weekend. They do accept pets and we saw several. My son is highly allergic, however well medicated. I would guess without the meds he would have had an issue. He is also highly allergic to many other things in the air and Florida is the ideal climate for most of them so it would be hard to tell what the issue was. For him, it isn't the dog, it is the stuff from outside the dog tracks in.

In general the RI was pleasant, the room was really clean but the hallways looked like they could use some new carpet. We had a good stay and will stay again.

We saw many dogs there on our Christmas trip as well. I have no idea if it was by fluke or by design, but we only ever saw them on the first floor (not in the elevators or on our floor, the 4th).

DS has severe seasonal allergies (not to pets), and takes Singulair daily. He was fine during our stay while in the hote (while in the rental car....different story :rolleyes2 ).

Thank you both for getting back to me so quickly! I am very allergic and not medicated to pets etc and we haven't figured out yet if our two year old is as well. Not sure I want to on this trip. Gina your pictures looked so great and reviews made me want to stay but in the end we will pick another place.

It is last minute so I am going to start another thred on that hotel question. Thanks again!
