Just a quick question from a first time cruiser- while re-reading my "Passporter" about PALO, I noticed a line in the book that said "you may need to know what line to stand in without wasting at time.

So could someone please explain the reservation process for me - I would like to reserve a dinner and a brunch, so do I have to stand in two different lines ?

Thanks

There was a line to change your dining assigment and a line for Palo. The Palo line then split again according to what day you wanted to book the dinner (all the Palo reservation people could book the brunch as well). There was a CM at the door to tell me which line to be in.

Hope this helps!

When we went...there was a separate line for dinner and a separate line for brunch. No problem, castmembers there to direct you.

We also had two different lines, one for dinner & one for brunch. The dinner line then split into which evening you wanted. The brunch line took much longer to get through because only one CM was taking all the reservations.

Plenty of CM's to help you get where you need to go.

You'll need to decide what day and time you'd like your dinner reservations (either while in line or earlier). The problem I had knowing exactly when I wanted reservations was that you don't get your seating rotation until you receive your KTTW card.

I got lucky and had heard that families with young children usually got APL (A - Animators, P - Parrot Caye, L- Lumiere's). I didn't want to miss Animators the first night (it's the only night they do the whole show).

Anyway, they have you form two lines according to what day you've chosen (get there early, have your plans made and it's QUICK). Then...

There's a small table to the rear of the room for brunch and high tea reservations. I highly recommend reserving and attending ALL these (and make the ressies for an extra 1 or 2 people, just in case you find someone you'd like to join you).

The Lemon Merengue pie at the Palo brunch was the best dessert on the ship (in my opinion). The Eclairs served at High Tea were superb (I usually don't even like eclairs). The Filet Mignon was excellent for dinner.

HAVE FUN!

Hi Pam! We also enjoyed brunch and dinner at Palo! We had Florencia for brunch and requested her for our dinner! She was EXCELLENT!! She made you feel so comfortable! She helped you to decide what to order, and if you couldn't decide, she would bring you both!! It felt like we were in her home and she wanted to make sure we were happy and satisfied!! I would love for her to serve us again! She was wonderful! We also got the opportunity to meet Gemma! She did not serve us, but I had mentioned to Florencia that I felt like I knew her from reading her mom's mesages, so Gemma came over to our table to say hi! What lovely ladies!!

I'm sorry to ask such a basic question, but where is the line for Palo reservations? Is it at the restaurant itself?
