Reserving Magical Express - less than 6 weeks before departure

I tried to call the number to reserve Magical Express from the airport and it says for new reservations to contact your booking agent (I booked with Disney online.) I also noticed that it says "For reservations within 6 weeks, or if your don't receive your Disney's Magical Express documents, please see the Disney Representative upon arrival at Orlando International Airport."

We are within 6 weeks of our trip, if I arrive and just go to the desk, will they put us on a bus or do I need to try to call Disney to reserve in advance?

Use this and hope for the best. Either way if you show up at the desk and have a Disney resort reservation, you'll get on the bus.

also, there are no longer any documents you need to receive, all you need to do is report to the desk with your luggage.

Good to know - thanks! I would bypass it and just do Uber, but one of my kids still needs a booster and I don't know how available an Uber with a car seat will be upon arrival. When I looked in the app now, none were available from MCO...

Personally I went into my reservation on the website and clicked modify.
You can add magical express and your flight info.
Then it sends and email and it shows up on how you are arriving.
I don't trust that other form someone posted as it failed me twice in the past.
Also be sure you pick up your luggage as thats no longer available.

With a 6 year old (from your signature) I would buy a BubbleBum booster and go with Lyft (I don't do Uber LOL) like you want to do.

DME uses the reservations people make to plan the bus schedule/loads. However, if you are arriving during the day there will likely already be several others taking buses to the various Disney hotels. Only if you are arriving at something like 2 am would I want to make sure you have a reservation to avoid a long delay if no one else happens to be traveling at that time. The Disney person can look up your hotel reservation at the kiosk where you enter the lines for DME so not having paperwork won't be an issue.

Ugh! I used that form to reserve my DME and now I’m nervous reading that it didn’t work for you. I did get an email saying they received my request. I tried to add DME when I booked my package and I got an error message saying that it was removed so I could continue my booking.

If you have a confirmation email you should be fine.
I never got one so I called and they said they never received my request.

I added my flight info for Magical Express using MDE. It's all there, and seems correct. I assume I am good to go? I don't still need to use the reservation link provided in this thread right?
