I made all my adr's well in advance and got exactly what I wanted. Now the dilema is my mom decided she was going to come on vacation with me. I have tried getting new reservations for the samethings I have with no luck. The ones I can't replace are ohana, liberty tree, and 1900 park fare. Do you think it would be a problem if we all came in on my old reservation? I'm going to keep trying to change them. I realize that may not happen though.

I am having the same issue but both of my parents decided to come. The CM I spoke with on the phone told me if it was just 1 person it would not be a problem. I assume thats because they will seat us at a table for 6. I would just go early and I'm sure they won't have a problem. As someone told me in my thread...don't let a dinner ruin your vacation. The important thing is that you spend time and have fun with your family.:goodvibes

You may or may not have problems- they will try to accomidate you but sometimes they may not be able to- you have a harder time than some groups would as you are moving to a different size table. I would be ready to either give up your reservation or have 1 member of the party eat elsewhere in the area if you can't get in with an extra person. I would also plan for much longer waits if they are willing to accomidate you.

There is no way to know for sure ahead of time. The best thing to do is to keep trying to change your ADRs to reflect the correct party size. You may get lucky, so keep trying!

The hard thing in your case is that you will now need a larger table than the one they have marked off for you. Show up extra early for your meal, and ask what they can do for you. You may be seated with a small wait, or you may be told that they cannot seat your extra guest.

You really need to decide what you will do if they can't accomodate an exta guest. Will you eat without your mom? Maybe you could make her her own ADR at a restaurant near where you will be, just in case. For 1900 Park Fare, she could have a meal at The Grand Floridian Cafe, which is very nice. For Ohanas she could eat at the Kona Cafe right next door.

Hopefully you will get lucky and get an ADR for all of you. But you cannot bet on all of you being seated if you show up with an extra guest. Good luck!

keep trying or book a table for one at some of them for Mom for now and then cancel if you are able to get correct table size.

Keep trying to rebook them. You may have difficulties if you show up with 5. Going from 4 to 5 is a problem because the two reservations require a different table size. Going from 5 to 6 isn't a big deal because parties of 5 and parties of 6 are usually seated at the same sized table.

We had the same thing happen on our trip a couple years ago. The one reso I couldn't change ahead of time was CRT. My mom was going to just go shop while we ate but we decided to ask if they could fit us all in and they did! You might try this but don't count on it!

We are dealing with the same thing. Call the dining line now and then and see if they can modify your ressies. The call center people were able to do what I was not able to do - change some of my ressies from three to four people. I currently have two ressies I still haven't been able to fix. Tutto (original ressie for 3) and Biergarten (original ressie for 5) - we will be a party of four. I'm a little worried about Biergarten because they seem to seat in a way as to fill the tables. I'm not really worried about Tutto - I can't imagine they won't be able to find us a table for four - they were probably going to seat us at a table for four anyway

Uh-o. I made my reservations for 4 thinking since there were only 4 people eating the meal thats what I should do. I have four plus highchair (did this for one of the meals only). Should I call and fix the others or will they be okay with it?

And how will this work at the Sci Fi with the baby? Where will he be able to sit? How many can fit in one car? I don't want to share with another family if at all possible. No offense:)

Also, I am missing two of my reservations. They said they would be emailed to me and I only got two. I didn't write down the reservation numbers since it said I would ahve an email confirmation.

You do need to call back and try and change your reservation to 5 people. If they take up space, Disney counts them as a person. Most tables for 4 will not have a space in which to put a high chair.

You should call and try to change them. The infant counts toward the fire code as far as I am aware. It is also so the restaurant can prepare ahead of time and hava a high chair ready as well as seat you at a table that can accommodate the high chair. At Sci Fi they will put a high chair next to your car. It is possible you will still share. We shared with a party of 2 last time.

They will try to accommodate your party (you may have to wait longer) unless the restaurant is at capacity. If the restaurant is full the extra persons won't be seated.

Yes, the infant will count toward the fire code. You should always count the infant as a party member. You're a party of 5, not a party of 4, and when you arrive at the restaurant you will be treated as a party of 5. This means if the restaurant is full to capacity, they will seat only 4 of your party.

If you are less than five or six in a car at Sci Fi I don't think you can ask that no one else be seated in the car. There are generally three benches that accommodate 2 adults in each car. If you have a party of 4 in a car, or you have the baby in a high chair or on a lap, the last seat will probably be given to a party of two. If you're adamant that ONLY your party be seated in the car, even if there is room in the car, maybe you should consider asking for a table.
