I have put down a deposit on a February 2006 cruise, and have received a mail confirmation of my reservation. I booked directly with Disney Cruise Line. Yesterday I was just browsing through the DCL web site, and noted that "my" cabin is listed as available for that cruise. What gives? Can other people some way bump me out of that cabin?

I'd say you're screwed! Only kidding. How long ago did you reserve? Good chance it just hasn't updated yet. Nonetheless....I would call DCL to reassure myself.

The cabin reservation system seems to be quirky. The online system showed all deck 5 cat. 10 rooms available. I called DCL to change my cabin. They told me they were all booked. I then went back online and they only had cat. 10 guaranty. All this took place within a half hour!

I don't want to get you too excited, but MAYBE you got an upgrade and they haven't told you?

"We can see what our room assignements are online? How?"

If you have booked directly with DCL and have your reservation number you can go to the DCL website and look up your reservation....it gives you all pertinent information....Cat, dining, cost, deposit, if paid in full, date you booked, etc.

But, the system is very quirky...we had our cabins changed it NEVER changed on the online ressie. Also...spelling of a name was changed and that was never changed on the online ressie. Also, as an FYI...if you accesss your ressie online and then call DCL to discuss something about it you MUST WAIT AT LEAST 30 MINUTES before calling DCL. If you have accessed your ressie online the CM on the phone cannot access until about 30 minutes later.

For the most part if you booked with a TA you CANNOT view your ressie at the DCL site, though some have reported that they could....so go figure!!!
