Apple just recently started renting strollers and right now they are offering a crazy deal. You can get either a single or a double stroller for free. You just have to pay $5 a day for insurance. You do still have to pay tax but it is way cheaper than any other rental plus they are brand new strollers! You need to reserve by Feb 28th but the price is good until Nov 15, 2013. Sorry if this has already been posted but I didn't want anyone to miss such a great deal.

I just bought a city mini double for seven days and the total was $37.28. Thanks op

I reserved one, too! $30 is way better than $80, even if it doesn't come with a cooler. I can bring my own one of those. :)

Thanks for the info. I am going to look them up right now for our trip in May.:thumbsup2

This would be a great deal, but I need a stroller that fits up to 60 lbs.

Oh well.

Do they deliver to the resort or you have to pick it up? Also, do you have a link or the website? Thanks! :-)

Last year I rented a city mini elite. Is the city mini much different from the elite?

They deliver free to the Disney resorts. They have a list of all of the other hotels they deliver to. Apple is one of Disney's "preferred vendors" for scooters so they are a reputable company that's been doing business for years. They've just branched out to stroller rentals.

Even though I bring my own stroller, I was excited to see this deal. I'm glad so many of you are able to use it. :goodvibes

Great deal, I reserved mine!

We are bringing our chicco umbrella stroller for the airport and was going to play it by ear of calling for a rental if our backs started to hurt during our week. This made us seal the deal for renting.

BTW- I took screen shots and saved the reservation because I've yet to get an email confirmation. Has anyone else received theirs?

Just a thought- if you have a longer trip, you may not really save much, plus you don't get a rain cover.
The other places are starting to include rain covers and either parent consoles or coolers... I searched around getting quotes I would only save about $20 but not have the raincover- which could be a huge problem in late summer!

If it's a good deal for you though, go for it.

I didn't think about the rain cover. I figured I could use a poncho to cover the stroller...maybe Im wrong. Has anyone done this before? I'm still happy with the stroller deal though.

Hi all,

This looks like a great deal. I was planning on just bringing DD's Maclaren (she will be 2, and it is our normal go-to strolłer). We have a Quest which reclines and has a little basket and sunshade (I think we have a raincover somewhere too). Any reason we should rent one of these city minis vs. just bringing along our stroller?

Thanks

I use clear ponchos from the dollar store all the time & they work great. Plus when it stops raining I can just pitch it into the trash and not have to worry about folding & transporting a wet cover.

I haven't received an email confirmation either, but I took your advice and got a screenshot of the confirmation page. $47 for a double stroller for 8 days!

ETA:
I spoke too soon. Just got an email confirmation.

Make sure to check your junk folder too for the confirmation email. I finally got it, but it was in my junk mail folder. Luckily I saw it. :)
