I just booked my dining and other experiences for June 5-15. Let me tell you all, if you are not "Johnny on the spot" about getting up and getting the things you want, you're probably not going to get it. I was able to get what our family wanted, but it was tough.

Lightsabers and droid depot reservations did open at 5:42 am and I was able to book for the 6th day of our stay. Dining reservations opened at 6 am like normal. I was using my new MacBook air on google chrome and was having trouble getting reservations to show up. I switched to my iPhone 12 and there were tons of dining reservations open that were not listed on my laptop. I usually use my laptop for reservations as it seems to be faster, however today was the exception.

So...if you are having trouble with one, try the other.

On your phone, were you on the website on a browser, or the MDE app?

I found the app on my phone (IOS) to be much quicker and easier than my laptop last week.

Also, times can be very quirky right now. For example, I would search for 6:00 pm for a certain restaurant and get nothing to show up. Then click on 5:30 pm, and have 6:15 show. I suppose it is possible the new ones showing up were being released by others, but it happened enough (still happens now as I try to tweak my times) that I think it is a glitch in the system.

Were you making your reservations in Eastern time, central time, etc? I am taking my nephew June 13-19 and he REALLY wants a light saber. Trying to figure out what time I have to get up on my 50th birthday to make that happen.

My daughter and I were up and ready at 4:45 and couldn’t get anything to work. An hour in she started having luck but it was about seven before I had any luck. I managed a sci fi for our first park day for 6 people. I’ve got some reservation finders out hoping to get what we need. First time ever I’ve had trouble getting a Via Napoli. Hopefully we’ll have some luck! I can’t see droid depot past 60 days.

Yeah I managed to get Oga's for 1 but only on my later HS day, no luck on the earlier date.

I didn't realize I messed up my park reservations and now have an extra AK day I don't really want........oh well. Hopefully I can park hop to MK

I made the first half of my ADRs this morning at 6am (split stay). I had the opposite experience, where I had to switch to using to my Macbook with Chrome because I couldn't get the app to work on my iphone 12.

Is anyone else having issues with the app? I can search for times off and on but then if I click on anything, I get the spinning wheel followed by "Try Again. We're having trouble loading the screen." It seems to happen if I try to book any dates beyond the current 90 days. I tried restarting my phone and even reinstalling the app, but it's still doing it now.

Anyway, I did manage to get what we wanted for the most part. The hardest was Beaches and cream. It was impossible for a party of 4 even at 60+4, but splitting into two parties of two made it a lot easier.

I can't get Droid Depot to show times after 6/5 even though I am staying 6/5-6/13. I was able to make dining reservations this morning but not Droid. Can I call the wdw dine number to make that reservation?

you should be able to get a reservation for the droid depot. Im not sure if you have to have tickets on your account or not?

If you are onsite, it will be the same as dining. 60 + 10

For ADRs if you don't get everything you want, I highly recommend mouse dining. For our 2019 I got what I could and then every time a text came in I would hop on and see if I could grab what I needed. We don't do a ton of ADRs, but it really helps when I need better time slots for Ohana and BOG. It might be a pay service now, but if I have any issues with our next trip (2021/2022 will depend on how then roll back/how quickly they are rolling back rules/regs and brings things back it's something I will definitely pay for it.
