If I book my stay now for 0ct/November 2003 and a cheaper rate is available am I able to change my reservation to the save some money??? I would be booking the reservation myself through Disney Reservation Center.

I always book room only through CRO with the 5 day prior to check in cancellation policy so switching once codes come out is not a big deal.

Right now I have my room for Feb 2003 booked with AAA was able to get 25% off at CSR. I am waiting for the new code to come out that will cover the value season of Jan and the first half of Feb and if it is cheaper then $106 a night plus tax I plan on switching to the code.

Frontporchsally--I always do this. I make my ressie's usually six months to a year ahead of time with a DC or AAA discount and sit and wait for the code rates or AP rates to come out. I have a ressie for POFQ for this November that started out with DC discount. I changed to the code rate when it came out, and a week later changed to the AP rate when it was announced. I always start with a rate that I can live with, then hope for the best as far as codes and discounts are concerned. So far, I have had no problems switching to cheaper rates for my ressie.

I also have a ressie for ASMO for Jan. 2003 with a AAA discount, but I know that will be about the best that I can do. ASMO is not usually among the resorts that have special code or AP rates due to its popularity. I am taking my mother and my sister's family to the ASMO. They have never been there and my heart was set on them staying there.
