This may be a silly question but if a studio is not available for a full week and only a few days but a 1 br is available can you reserve the studio for the consecutive days available and then switch to the 1 br for the remainder of the week? For instance Fri & Sat in the studio and then Sun.-Thurs. in the 1 BR...Will DVC reservations allow a reservation like that? We wanted a full week in a studio but not available for the entire week only a few day but the 1 BR is available. It ends up being cheaper too than a full week in a studio?! Am I correct?!
I assume we will need to check out of the studio and check into the 1br which can take up some time but will they accomodate this type of reservation?
Thanks for any info. on this topic!

You certainly can do as you state. You could stay in a different resort and/or unit type every night if you wanted subject to availability. It will not be cheaper to do this than would a studio. You will pay the per night charges for each and the cost will be in between the two sizes for a week.

You can reserve one day in a studio, one day in a two bedroom, one day in a GV, one day in a one bedroom if you like. But, each time you change, you will have to check out and check in again.

Five nights in a one bedroom will be more than five nights in a studio at the same resort with the same type of room.

Thanks for the info. I assumed that you could as long as the rooms were available but wanted to double check. As for the pricing...I am a bit confused. I guess we have always stayed a full week so we never bothered looking at the other prices. Let's say for instance the BCV are 134 per week...is it 32 per night for Fri. and Sat. or 32 points for both nights and 30 points for each night for a Sunday- Thursday reservation?
I think this is where my confusion is:) Can you tell me how the point chart works then for the Fri and Sat. stays and the Sun.-Thursday stays?
Thanks!! :confused3

OK...I just did the math....the point chart for those other days are per night...that makes complete sense. I was thinking why wouldn't people do this all the time if it were less expensive. I need to go to bed now...I obviously need some sleep!
Thanks for your help!!

All nights are "per night" points. The points are more expensive on Fri & Sat nights, than on Sun to Thurs nights.

thanks...it took me a little bit but I figured it out...if I only did the math to begin with I would have realized that I was calculating wrong:)
Thanks again!:wizard:
