I was thinking of requesting a reservation through the member website since it is Sunday. How has it worked out for you?

If it isn't for a particularly busy time for DVC ressies (Holidays, school breaks, etc) and it isn't for a hard to get room class (BWV Standard, etc). It will probably work out fine. It usually takes a couple days for them to get back to you, though occasionally a CM will check the emails on a weekend. I've used it before without any problems.

I've used it like previous post said, when it was not a particularly busy time or resort. We did make out xmas week @ OKW at 10 months online for 2 bdroom 12/23-12/28/06 and we were confirmed the next day by email and received the confirmation letter in 6 days. We have done June at OKW at 8 months (then we changed to BCV at 7 months via phone) with no problem also.
It will not be helpful for a day-by-day reservation (I have never done this via phone ,even at 7 months for HHI in summer or BCV in June and I have gotten what I wanted). Or any high demand time or resort e.g. trying to get VWL at 7 months over xmas week on-line would probably not be efficient or successful.

kkRequested any resort 2BR for NYE at less than 7 months - waitlisted of course - waitlist came through Friday and I completed reservation by phone Monday morning. Now have people not going so really need 1 BR instead of 2 so may try it again even though we are just two months out. I may just call MS - was really surprised that I didn't get to listen to any music Monday morning- got right through to MS CM.
