Are you a
DVC owner, prosective owner or are you planning to rent points?
DVC owners can make reservations at their home resort 11 months ahead of their desired check out date. They can make reservations at other DVC resorts 7 months ahead of time.
Reservations are subject to availability and are on a first come, first served basis.
Mid-June should not be a problem to get if you take advantage of the 11 month window. Unless you want a Grand Villa/Beach Cottage (at OKW, BWV or VB) or a standard view at BWV, mid-June should not be a problem at the 7 month window. Worst case - you might have to use the waitlist for some of your dates.
If you are looking to rent points and want to vacation in June, 2003, there very well might be a problem getting the dates, resort and/or unit size you prefer. No way to know without checking with MS.
If you are about to become a member (waiting to close on a resale, maybe?), see the previous paragraph. If your dates and resort choice are at all flexible, there is a good chance you can go this June. Again, you may need to use the waitlist. FWIW, this is probably the only time you'll have a problem, since you'll be able to use the 11 month window next time.
It's true that there are some times of the year and some types of units that book up very quickly - you'll need to call day by day as soon as the 11 month window opens to ensure getting your first choice of resort, dates and unit size. The "difficult" times/units seem to be Christmas Eve to New Year's Day, Easter, first two weeks of December, and Grand Villas/Beach Cottage or BWV standard view rooms at any time.
HTH.
Good luck!
