Do you have to book through AAA to get the AAA discount?
I just talked to a AAA rep and they require $200 down and the rest of the room fees 45 days before arrival. Sounds like it is being booked through WDWTC and not CRO.
Another question, when AP rates come out for my time period, how do you make the reservations? I have heard you don't have to buy the pass until just before check-in. Is this accurate?
One more thing, do you think there will be codes available for this July?

I don't know about AAA. Sorry.

We always book "room only" through CRO. When the codes come out, we call back and apply the code to our existing reservation. We usually get an AP rate. We have booked the room before without actually having the AP. If you do buy the AP in advance, you will get a voucher and you activate it on the day you want it to start. At check in, they are supposed to ask to see it. About half the time, they have not. Poly consierge asked to see it. Beach Club and VWL have not asked to see it. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice, I think I will follow it.
I'm getting anxious and want to know those reservations are confirmed. Having stayed on property I could never do otherwise again. We have stayed at CBR, POFQ and POR (Dixie Landings in my heart!)
Spring is on it's way!

You can book AAA room only rates by calling CRO directly. I have reserved two rooms for Thanksgiving 2003. If rooms are available for your time period at the AAA rate the discount will be 20%. One nights deposit is required and you cancell up to 5 days prior to your arrival date. Hope this helps.

Same here - I called the CRO a couple of months ago and booked AKL for a week in May at the AAA rate. ($230/night - savannah view - it's been a while so I forget)

...Just waiting for some AP codes to come out...
