This is probably a dumb question, but will we need ADR at the restaurant at our resort? We are staying at CBR from Nov. 2-10 and have made several ADR at various places .. SCI FI, Rainforest, Hoop De Doo, but we have not made reservations at Shutters at CBR. I was hoping that by being resort guests, we would not have a problem. I don't want to plan every meal in advance and was hoping that if we chose to hang around the resort pool one day, we could eat at our resort at night. Any thoughts?

You might have a better chance of getting a last minute ADR if you made it at the lobby Concierge desk since your staying there, although there is no guarantee of that even happeing. Others have said when making last minute ADR's for a restaurant located in a WDW Resort you happen to be staying at, the Cast Member would do their best to get you an ADR compared to others who call WDW-Dinning. However I say again that might not even happen, so don't be disappointed if you can not get a last minute ADR there.

Resort guests don't get special priority for getting into restaurants. If you know when your days off will be, why don't you make ADRs now. You can cancel that day if you change your mind.

I second that!!!:thumbsup2

I agree if you know the day you want to be there, go ahead and make the reservation. They are really easy to cancel once your there. I know what you mean about not wanting to plan every meal, I like to be more causual. I am still remembering the times years ago when we could. Not any more it is best to make the ADR's, even if you're a guest of the resort.

A plus to making ADR's at a restaurant in the Resort you are staying at is if there happens to be a long wait for your table which can happen, it's not like you would be in a rush to go somewhere else or to get back to another WDW Resort via bus or Monorail.
