reservations for palo and spa

this is my first time. we booked our cruise for 0ct9,western last jan online through dcl. this is the first i am hearing about booking spa/palo reservations ahead. will ibe able to call debbie on my own in a week or 2 and do it? Thanks,Mary

If you booked the REAS package you will be able to..otherwise you have to wait until you board.

We have had our reservations booked for a couple of months and we don't sail til Nov.

If you didn't book the REAS package, just make sure you get in line early to board the ship. Walk straight back to make your reservations for Palo and the spa. My dh and I were able to make the Palo resrv. with no problems--the times were all available. But there was only limited times left for the spa ( early at 8:00 am), since all the "ggod" times were talen with the early REAS bookings. But it turned out the that was the best possible time--I got my massage early and had the rest of the day to play!!! Other friends had to cut short fun things we were doing to leave and go to the spa.

What is the REAS package? I guess I didn't book one if I don't know what it is, but I am still curious!

It's the Romance at Sea package. Among other things (like rose petals on your bed at night), you are able to make your reservations for Palo and a couples massage at the spa before you board the ship.

Oh, OK, since it is just me and the kids there is definitely no Romance gonna be taking place on the seas! Maybe the next time we go though....

thanks for the info on the palo/spa reservations. we are supposed to take the 1030 am shuttle from the radisson over to the ship. Will that be early enough to get spa and palo times? Also we have a fouralmost five year old. Can he eat dinner in the kids club while we are at palo. Does anyone have suggestion times /nights for making palo reservations. Mary

LOL...heck I am goign with my 5 year old and my mom and I booked the REAS package...simply because I don't want to have to get onboard and rush around booking things..I would rather they were all done.....I could certainly do without the rose petals but I think my daughter will get a kick out of rose petals in her room LOL!

Hey that's a good idea~ too bad I am not traveling with another adult. I would like to be able to skip the lines as well! I think I am going to cancel the transfers that are included because I definitely want to get there as early as I can so that I can get a spa reservation. That is the one thing that I want!

If I were to do it agin I would have made my Palo reservation on a day when we were off the ship. Because when you are off the ship, you are usually spending the day with your child. Then when you get back onboard, you take your child to kids club and go to adults only Palo. I had reservations for my day at sea so my children spent all day and evening in kids club. I felt guilty--although my son (just turned 6) loved it!!!!

Thanks for the rep;y on reservations ..will ther ebe many teen cruisers since we are going in october? I have 5,11, and 14 years olds. Ok what were we thinking. appparently we were not!

i just found out that I can book the reas package by calling and adding on. should I call Debbie direct to do this and does anyone have her direct #? Thanks,Mary
