Hi guys, we are planning a trip for sometime in the fall and were just wondering how crowded the restaurants are. Should I start making reservations now, or should they be open a few weeks before the trip? Thnx for your help!!!!:earsboy: :earsgirl: princess: princess: princess: pluto:

Since Advanced Dining Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, I would suggest you book them as soon as you know where you want to dine. Restaurants and times may already be limited.

I would book straight away if I were you. I made my ADR's at the exact 180 day out mark in April and one place was not available for the time I asked for - got it for 10 minutes later but even so to be that booked up at 180 days out wow!!!

Yup. Definately call ASAP regardless of month. I started booking for October trip back in June (a little late), and LeCellier is all booked up for the desired times. Most other places I was able to book.

Also, Dining told me that multiple reservations on the same day would result in earliest called in reservation cancelled! (I used to do multi-reservations for dinners at diff parks in case we changed plans on where we were going that night!)

I agree with all this good advice! Just as soon as you know when and where you want to dine, make the ADR.

We are going in October also and I didn't start making our reservations until about 3 weeks ago. There was only one or two that I couldn't get. (One was LTT on one night of MNSSHP, and the other was Le Cellier.) I could have gotten some others that I considered, but I didn't like to times available. I would definitely go ahead and call. I actually called back this week to change some and some were available that weren't available before. I'm still trying for LTT!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Another thought if you cant get something you want, keep trying. I was just able to get a 5:00 PM ADR at Kona Cafe for this Sunday. I thought there was no way we would have a chance, but called just to check. :thumbsup2

I would say as soon as you can. I just made mine for a trip at the end of November and couldn't get into some of the popular dinners when I wanted. The sooner, the better.

Definately book as soon as you can. You may not be able to get all the times you want even now. I am going in October and also booked my reservations in April and had to adjust a couple of times.
