I'm booked on both themed cruises and while checking onboard activities, I'm a bit surprised by what is mentioned under the meets that can be booked... on both cruises it says that you need to pick between meets. In the past you could book each meet one time per cruises, but now it is worded as if you need to choose between Groot/thor/Iron man and choose between TS/Incredibles. My actual booking window hasn't opened so I'm wondering whether those that have booked early Marvel and Pixar cruises and have booked theirs, can confirm what is going on.
I the past you could book each meet once, so I'm a little disappointed that now all of a sudden you would need to pick....

Following.

We're doing a B2B in concierge for the 1/30 and 2/4 MDAS sailings. Shoreside should be reaching out to us soon for early booking for the meet & greets so if no one responds before then, I'll report back what they say!

I'm on b2b too and then I fly to PC for the Pixar Western. For MDAS I could thus book a different one for each cruise but only doing one Pixar and I just feel a bit weird you would have to choose all of a sudden....

It is weird. We've done 2 SWDAS and 1 MDAS previously and were able to reserve all of the reservable characters...

Yeah in the past it was onz reservation per type of meet thats why we are confused about the wording for this year…

I am on the first Pixar cruise in January, and can confirm that information on the booking site says that each guest may attend one reserved meet per cruise — either the Toy Story Friends or the Incredible Encounter, both of which are offered on several different days. All of them are sold out now, so I would guess that the limit was to make it possible for more guests to be able to book a meet. The site does say that some reservations may be available onboard.

We're on the same cruise. It also includes the Royal Gathering character meet as one of the reserved character experiences... so you are picking from one of the three.

Thanks for the correction! I didn't actually try booking any of these, but noticed that the text for the Pixar meets just mentions the 2 Pixar experiences. It would make sense that Royal Gathering is included in the restriction, if the goal is to make sure as many guests as possible can book a reserved character meet.

We are on the first MDAS and we were able to book 3 different meet and greets (Guardians, Asgard, and HQ).
Seriously?!? Me and my family are scheduled for a MDaS at the end of January and our 30 day booking window is coming up. Did you just sign up for them?

We are on the Jan 7th sailing and our online check in was last week. They popped up as Onboard Fun for the Marvel Day. DCL offered one of the meets on another day also but I wanted them all on the same day. Our first one is at 8am, then 8:30 am and then 9:15 am. I do not know if it was because our sailing is the first MDAS of the season but the meets did not appear right at midnight, it was closer to 1am before they showed up which was very frustrating. Once they popped up they were getting booked very quickly. By the time I finished our On Line check in a couple of the time slots were already full. Good luck!

We also were able to book the Royal Gathering for another day so total we were able to book 4 reserved meet and greets.

Thanks for the info! DW said that she read in a few other places it was NOT worded very well in regards to one (total) or only one of each for the cruise!
