Hi everyone! I need to make reservations for January onsite, and I'm not sure when Disney starts taking reservations. Does anyone know? Thank you in advance.

If you just want to book a resort, go ahead any time.

If you want to book restaurant ADRs, that can only be done starting 180 days in advance.

Do I have to call? The reason I ask is because I tried to do it online, but they said they were not booking yet.

Yes you will need to call them since it is so far out. As Robo said you make resort reservations and buy tickets, but the dining will have to wait until 180 days out.
