You can generally walk in and eat. If you eat off hours (before noon, after 2 pm, before 6 pm, etc), it is easier and faster to get a seat.

Craftsman Grill is actually counter service. You order at the counter and seat yourself. They don’t take reservations.

Craftsman BAR is over by the pool. They take reservations and are very popular. I have been unable to get a walkup at times there. Best to have reservations if you can get them.

Menu is similar but some different options at each place and different drinks too.

Yes, and the more crowded and longer the wait is at the bar, the more difficult it is to find a seat at the grill.

There is a very different vibe between Craftsman's Bar and Craftman's Grill. The Bar is more upscale and has much nicer ambiance. If you want to go there, I recommend an ADR if you want to sit at a table. You can, though, often find a seat at the Bar for one ore two and the menu is the same.
