Hey, so all the hype bout bibbity bobbity boutique, do u need reservations?? and would the number be the same as disney preferred seating??

I think reservations are always the best way to go....

I believe I made my ressies for BBB thru Vacation Planning. However, I am sure if you called DD and they could always transfer you if they aren't able to make the reservations themselves.
