When you make your reservation for your character meal or other WDW meal, do you have to pay in full with a credit card, leave a credit card for security, or just leave your name? Do you get a confirmation number? When the 180 day or 90 day mark hits when is the best time to call? Do you speak with a live person? Do they really sell out in minutes? This planning thing is a full-time job! :surfweb:

When are you going to Disney?

I just called yesterday to revise our reservations and we did not have to leave a credit card or anything like that....

I do think you do have to do it for Cinderellas royal table, fantasmic pkg, Luau, and Hoop De Doo review.....

and they only take the cc number.....you can pay with credit card when you go to the restaurant or you can pay cash or with a disney gift card even...

For CRT you can call up through June 19.....here is the calculator for you to look....Have fun planning

For CRT you do pay in full.

Yes, for a few you do leave your credit card for security. The Fantasmic dining packages, California Grill and dinner shows are ones that I can think of off of the top of my head.

or just leave your name
For the rest you do just leave your name

Do you get a confirmation number?
Yes

When the 180 day or 90 day mark hits when is the best time to call?
Disney dining opens at 7am Eastern.

Do you speak with a live person?
Yes

Do they really sell out in minutes?
Some do. Illuminations or Wishes cruises, Victoria & Albert's Chefs Table, CRT and LeCellier all generally sell out fast.

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Thanks for your responses. I'm going in October so will start calling in April, at 7am sharp!

It's 90 days, so don't call in April - you'll be way too early! Your dates will become available sometime in July.
